Pawtucket, R.I : Man charged after car crashes into Pawtucket house on Friday morning, December 26, 2014

The police charged a Pawtucket man with driving on a suspended license after his car crashed into a house early Friday morning as the result of a two-car accident near the intersection of Newell Avenue and Vale Street.
Peter P. Karapatsas, 28, of 60 Esten Ave, Pawtucket, was charged after the Hyundai Tiburon he was driving collided with a Toyota Scion tC driven by Aleno Gomes, 22, of 89 Belmont St., Pawtucket, Pawtucket Maj. Arthur Martins said Friday.
The police continue to investigate the accident and don’t know yet who was at fault, Martins said. The house that was struck, at 203 Newell Ave., did not sustain any serious structural damage, Martins said, but some of the siding was torn off.
“It seemed like the impact caused him to go into the house,” Martins said.
A passenger in Karapatsas’ vehicle was identified as Onilda Anacleto, 29, of the same address as the driver, Martins said. Karapatsas was the only person taken to the hospital, because he complained of neck and back pain, Martins said.
