New Castle, DE : Man killed in car crash at New Castle Airport on Sunday, December 21, 2014

Authorities say a man is dead after a single vehicle crash in New Castle. The Delaware State Police say the crash happened just before 5 a.m. Sunday on US 13 north of the Hares Corner intersection. The Delaware State Police say the driver of a 2001 Infiniti G20 drifted off of the right side of the road for an unknown reason and hit a chain link fence.
