A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash with another vehicle Wednesday morning.

The collision happened just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Locust Way and Vine Road.

The motorcyclist was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

The other driver was not injured. He was cooperating with detectives.

The sheriff’s Collision Investigation Unit is investigating.

Locust Way was closed for several hours as detectives collected evidence and mapped the crash. No additional information about the motorcyclist was available.

Separately, sheriff’s detectives continue to investigate a fatal motorcycle crash from Monday in the 12100 block of Admiralty Way near Everett. Officials identified the victim as Abraham J. Perry, 25, of Mukilteo.

Initial reports indicated that speed may have been a factor.

Later that night, sheriff’s detectives were called to the scene of a one-car crash in Arlington. A 19-year-old was killed after his vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a utility pole.
