Longwood, FL : Motorcyclist killed in I-4 crash in Seminole County on Sunday afternoon, May 22, 2016

A person was killed in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 4 in Seminole County Sunday afternoon.

Authorities said the crash happened about 12:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-4 near E.E. Williamson Road. Traffic on I-4 in Seminole County was backed up for miles after the crash.

Authorities with the Seminole County Fire Department said the victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, but did not survive.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
