One person was killed in a two-vehicle head-on collision in Carbon County Sunday.

The crash occurred at 4:43 a.m. on Highway 310 a mile south of Rockvale, the Montana Highway Patrol said.

A Toyota Tundra drifted into the oncoming traffic lane striking a Ford Focus.

The driver of the Ford Focus was killed, the Highway Patrol said. A passenger in the Ford Focus and the driver of the Toyota Tundra were injured.

The crash still is under investigation, the Highway Patrol said Sunday evening. Alcohol and drugs are suspected causes in the crash, the agency said. Roads in the area were dry at the time.
