Bowling Green,IN : Indiana man to be sentenced for crash that hurt 2 on October, Thursday 12th 2017

An Anderson, Ind., man whose car crashed into a motorcycle on U.S. 6, injuring two people more than two years ago, is to be sentenced Dec. 13 in Wood County Common Pleas Court.

Michael Ratcliffe, 44, pleaded guilty Oct. 12 to two counts of vehicular assault, both fourth-degree felonies, for an Oct. 10, 2015 crash that injured Raymond Baumer, Jr., of Fostoria and his passenger, Sheila Clark.

Ratcliffe was westbound on U.S. 6 near Bradner Road traveling at high speed when he passed two westbound vehicles, lost control, and slid sideways into Mr. Baumer’s eastbound motorcycle.
