Memphis, TN : Multiple people, children involved in 2 car collision at Getwell Road and Shelby Drive on Tuesday, August 30, 2016

Emergency crews are on the scene of a serious wreck at Getwell Road and Shelby Drive.

Multiple people have been injured, and children were involved in what appears to be a two car collision.

Memphis Police Department said at approximately 8:30 p.m., two vehicles were involved in a crash. Two people were transported to the hospital.

One person is listed in critical condition and the other is in non-critical condition.

Others appeared to be receiving treatment from emergency crews on the side of the road as Chopper 5 watched from the air.
