La Mesa, CA : Four injured in a Multi-vehicle crash on I-8 blocked traffic during morning commute on Wednesday, August 27, 2014

A multiple vehicle crash on Interstate 8 in La Mesa Wednesday sent four people to a hospital and briefly blocked traffic, authorities said. The crash in the westbound lanes west of state Route 125 was reported around 7:45 a.m. and initially blocked three lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol. Caltrans reported about 15 minutes later that only one lane remained blocked, and all lanes as clear at about 8:40 a.m. The four people injured in the crash were taken to Sharp Grossmont Hospital, a Heartland Fire & Rescue dispatcher said.
