Houston, TX : 9 hurt when SUV crashes into restaurant buffet on Wednesday afternoon, November 5, 2014

Houston police say nine people have been hurt after an SUV smashed through some windows and into a restaurant. The diners scattered Wednesday afternoon as the vehicle plowed into the buffet. Store security video shows at least one man being pinned to the buffet by the SUV. The vehicle reversed, then briefly rolled forward again before stopping. Authorities say most of the nine people who were hurt have injuries not believed to be life-threatening. Several were taken to a hospital to be checked out. The driver was apparently trying to park when the accident happened. Houston police are investigating whether the driver accidentally stepped on the gas pedal instead of hitting the brake.
