A police officer was injured in a head-on crash in North Providence.
The crash happened at 1 a.m. on Douglas Avenue.It took crews 30 minutes to get the officer out of the cruiser, but he is expected to survive.
Witnesses said the driver of the Jeep that hit the officer's cruiser was taken into custody after the crash.
