Sioux Falls,SD : One dead in icy Beadle County crash on January, Wednesday 31st 2018

Authorities say one man was killed Wednesday morning after an icy crash in Beadle County.
A Chevrolet Uplander was headed east on South Dakota Highway 28, one mile west of Carpenter, when a westbound GMC 3500 lost control on the ice and slid into oncoming traffic, according to a release from the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
The 69-year-old male passenger of the Uplander was not wearing a seatbelt, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 67-year-old driver of the Uplander suffered serious, non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
The 25-year-old driver of the GMC 3500 suffered minor injuries and was also taken to a local hospital. Authorities say there are charges pending against her.
