Kent, OH : One man died after struck by a vichicle Thursday morning on july 17th 2014.

A Rootstown man has died after he was struck by a vehicle Thursday morning in Kent.
According to police, Richard Schoepe, 37, was hit in the area of North Water Street and Columbus Street about 10 a.m. and sustained severe injuries.
He was taken to Akron City Hospital by Kent fire, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Jason Grom a forensic investigator with the Summit County Coroner's office reports the cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma.
Police say the driver left the scene but was later located outside of the city of Kent.
