POMPEY, NY : A Pompey woman was killed on April, Friday 28th 2017

A Pompey woman was killed Friday morning when her car went off the road and crashed into an embankment, according to New York State Police.
It happened around 10:00 a.m. on Henneberry Road in the Town of Pompey.

Troopers say 83-year-old Alice M. Angelo was driving her 2011 Mercedes on Henneberry Road when the car went off the shoulder of the roadway and struck an embankment.
She was rushed to Upstate Medical Hospital where she was prounced dead.
At this time it is unclear what caused the crash, but state police are continuing to investigate.
