South Point, OH : Man found dead in Lawrence County Ohio on 11th August, 2016

According to a press release on the Lawrence County Ohio Sheriff's Office Facebook Page, at 5:57 a.m. this morning, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office received a telephone call for assistance at 121 Apt. B Meadow Lane in South Point, Ohio.

The press release stated that upon the officers' arrival, they found an unknown black male, approximately 30 years old, lying in bed with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The names of those involved are not being released pending notification of relatives.

The investigation remains in its very early stages and the South Point Police Department is leading the investigation. The Sheriff’s Office, Ohio BCI&I, and the Coroner’s Office are assisting.
