Canterbury, N.H : 25-year-old passenger, Steve M. Bomba, died in a serious crash on I-93 in Merrimack County on Friday, August 19, 2016

The New Hampshire State Police is investigating a serious crash on I-93 Northbound last night that left a passenger dead.

Police arrived on the scene just north of exit 17 around 5:12 p.m.

Officers found a red Ford F-150 had drifted off the road into the center median where it hit a cluster of trees.

A 25-year-old passenger, Steve M. Bomba, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another passenger, 41-year-old Greg Collins, suffered serious injuries and was brought to the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment.

The driver, 29-year-old Michael Weden was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Traffic was backed up as far as Exit 15 in Concord with about a 40 minute delay while police investigated the crash scene.
