Piscataway Township, NJ : 1 dead, 1 seriously injured in crash on I-287 on Sunday, 22nd November, 2020

A New Jersey woman was killed and her passenger seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash on I-287 South early Sunday morning in Piscataway Township.

The driver, Tamiyka N. Scott, a 49-year-old resident of Piscataway, was traveling in a Honda when the car veered off the roadway in the area of milepost 5.2, struck multiple trees and overturned, State Police reported.

She was partially ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. The vehicle’s passenger, Sherine T. Rollins, a 48-year-old resident of Staten Island, New York, was also ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injuries.
