Gainesville, FL : A Hollister man was killed and a woman critically injured in a crash in Putnam County on Tuesday, 3rd July 2018

A Hollister man was killed and a woman critically injured in a crash in Putnam County Tuesday afternoon, the Florida Highway Patrol reported in a news release.

Reynaldo Colon Rivera, 57, died. His passenger, Amanda Williams, 35, of Palatka, was hospitalized in UF Health Shands Hospital in critical condition.

The crash occurred about 2:42 on State Road 20 near Nine Mile Swamp Road.

Rivera was driving a 1990 Ford Mustang east on SR 20 in the outside lane. Jacob Paschall, 27, of Lake City, was driving a 2017 Toyota Tacoma west in the inside lane, FHP reported.
