Sumner County, TN : Man killed in a fiery crash involving two semitrailers on Interstate 65 north in Millersville on Wednesday, October 26, 2016

A man died in a fiery crash involving two semitrailers after he was trapped in the blaze, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol's preliminary report.

Billy Dickson, 61, of Madison, died after rear-ending another big rig that had pulled over just after 5 a.m. so that driver Tommie Jackson could switch seats with passenger Glendarious Wren, according to THP.

The fatal crash shut downtown Interstate 65 north in Millersville near mile marker 101 in Sumner County.

Neither Wren nor Jackson were injured in the wreck, officers said.

According to the report, officers aren't sure if Dickson was wearing a seat belt, and they did not request a drug or alcohol test.

THP Sgt. Travis Plotzer said the crash is still under investigation.
