CHANDLER, AZ : 1 dead, 2 injured in crash near Ray and Rural roads on Sunday, 21st July 2019

Police say one person has died and two others were injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Chandler Sunday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the scene near Rural and Ray roads around 1:30 p.m.

Police say two people were transported to the hospital, one in critical condition and one with minor injuries. The third person was checked on scene, but refused further treatment, according to Chandler firefighters.

The patient in critical condition, a woman in her 60s, later died from her injuries, police say.
