TRENTON, NJ : Ewing man dies in horrific Trenton car crash on Thursday, August 10, 2017

A Ewing man died Thursday night after crashing his SUV into a Market Street wall near Mill Hill.

Anthony McMillan, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene following the 10:25 p.m. crash, police said on Friday.

McMillan was driving westbound on Market Street in the eastbound lane, veered off the road and then struck a guardrail, according to police. He traveled down the guardrail for a significant distance and then struck the Route 1 overpass bridge abutment head on, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side.

Police said McMillan was the sole occupant of the Durango and that no other vehicles were involved in the crash, which remains under investigation by Trenton Police Detective Craig Kirk.
