Fairview Township, PA : 1 dead after crashing into tree in York County on Steigerwalt Hollow Road below YMCA Drive on Friday, 18th January 2019

A man died on Friday after he crashed into a tree in Fairview Township.

Joshua Stover, 20, of Fairvew Township, was killed in the crash, which happened just before 11 a.m. on Steigerwalt Hollow Road below YMCA Drive. He was the only person in the vehicle.

Fairview Township police said the vehicle crossed the opposing lane for an "unknown reason" and struck a tree. Law enforcement said it appears that speed might've been a factor in the crash — but the investigation is continuing.
