Owensboro, KY : Man killed in Tuesday accident on Kentucky 144 on Tuesday, October, 31st 2017

An Owensboro man was killed, and three people were sent to regional hospitals early Tuesday after a head-on collision closed Kentucky 144.

Daviess County Sheriff's Department reports said Steve M. Coons, 35, was driving east in the 3000 block of Kentucky 144 near Pleasant Valley Road at 7:43 a.m. when his GMC Canyon pickup truck crossed into the westbound lane and struck a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck head-on.
