Columbia, MO : Monroe City woman injured in Boone County crash on Sunday night, August 21, 2016

A Monroe City woman was injured in a Sunday night crash in Boone County.

The Missouri State Highway patrol reports a 2004 Chevrolet truck driven by Zachary D. Crader, 21, of Columbia, was westbound on Route M, 500 feet west of Fox Hollow Road, at 11:15 p.m. when it traveled off the right side of the road. The vehicle overcorrected, then traveled off the left side of the road, returned to the road and overturned.

Three passengers in the truck -- Raechel R. Douglas, 21, of Columbia; Juliana N. Hays, 21, of Monroe City; and Sean M. Murphy, 21, of Columbia, were taken to University Hospital in Columbia. Hays had moderate injuries, and Douglas and Murphy had minor injuries.

The patrol said Crader was wearing a seat belt, but none of the passengers were wearing seat belts.
