Raeford police say a man riding his bicycle to work was killed when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver. The Fayetteville Observer reports Maj. Marc Godwin said 59-year-old Duane Kyle Robinson was killed Wednesday morning. Godwin said Robinson was riding to his job, which was about two miles from his home. Authorities said a passing motorist saw Robinson and his bicycle in the road and called police. Godwin said Robinson died at the scene. Godwin said it was raining and dark at the time of the accident. So far, there have been no arrests in the case.
