Erie,PA : A two-vehicle crash on Sassafrass on April, friday 21th 2017

A two-vehicle crash on Sassafrass and West 12th streets has traffic slowed and Erie police and fire units on the scene at 8:45 p.m. Friday.

The accident involved a white sport-utlity vehicle and a dark-colored truck. The SUV had heavy damage to its front and had rammed into a chain link fence around the Salvation Army Thrift Store at 1209 Sassafrass St.

It did not appear that there were any significant injuries and police were interviewing several occupants of the vehicles.
