A 66-year-old man who was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Chatsworth on Tuesday was identified Thursday.
Joseph Michael Cobb, of Chatsworth, was pronounced deceased at 10:25 p.m. at a hospital, said Brian Elias of the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
Valley Traffic Division Detective Bill Bustos said investigators were working the case on Thursday. But he had no more new information.
The crime was reported at 9 p.m. Tuesday after a white sedan entered a driveway in the 20600 block of Lassen Street and struck the man, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The driver stopped briefly and then fled the scene, authorities added.
