Memorial service today for Aggie killed in wreck

A memorial service for a 20-year-old Texas A&M student killed in a car accident last weekend is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Klein Funeral Home in Spring.

Nathan Walker Hardcastle and his girlfriend, 19-year-old Taylor Leonard of Cypress, died from injuries they sustained in a crash on Harvey Mitchell Parkway late Saturday night.Leonard's funeral services were held Wednesday evening in Tomball.She was visiting Hardcastle in College Station when the collision occurred.

According to authorities, Leonard was driving a 2008 Dodge pickup with six passengers when she attempted to make a turn out of a private drive in the 1300 block of Harvey Mitchell just north of Holleman Drive.

The truck was hit on the driver's side by a 2006 Dodge pickup traveling south on Harvey Mitchell, causing both vehicles to travel across all lanes of traffic before coming to a rest on the opposite side of the road, police said.
