Bridgewater Township, N.J : 2 pedestrians struck and killed on Route 22 in Somerset County on Thursday, August 25, 2016

Bridgewater Township police are investigating an accident which left two pedestrians dead on Route 22.

Police say a minivan struck the 29-year-old man and 23-year-old woman near North Adamsville Road just before 3:15 a.m. Thursday. The driver of the minivan was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

No names have been released.
