Wagoner, OK : A woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident at Highway 51 On Saturday, August 20th, 2016

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident near Wagoner.

KOTV reports (http://bit.ly/2bbCD25 ) that the woman was struck about 3:15 a.m. Saturday on Highway 51.

The OHP said the woman appeared to have been walking on the eastbound shoulder of the highway when she was struck by a red vehicle.

The woman’s name was not immediately released.

The highway was closed for about two hours while the scene was cleared.
