One person has life-threatening injuries after being involved in a fiery single-car crash in the 7700 block of State Road A1A South, two miles south of State Road 206, on Thursday afternoon. St. Johns County Fire Rescue's Station 6 in Crescent Beach arrived on the scene first and found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The car fire was extinguished and the person in the car was removed and transported by helicopter to UF Health Jacksonville. The crash is still under investigation, according to SJCFR.
