Charlotte, NC : Scooter driver dead after colliding with school bus in Salisbury on Thursday June 2,2016.

A scooter driver is dead after colliding with a school bus in Salisbury Thursday morning.
Police say the scooter crashed into the school bus on W Innes Street just before 9 a.m.
No students were aboard the bus, number 28, at the time. The bus was reportedly headed back to the bus garage.
A witness on scene says the moped driver was a man and that he appeared to drive straight into the bus.
The scooter driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police say. No one else was injured in the wreck.
No names have been released. The Salisbury Police Department is investigating.
