Dover, DE : 4-year-old killed in Delaware County crash on Wednesday, December 7th, 2016

A head-on crash has killed a 4-year-old Delaware girl and critically injured three adults.

Calvin Thomas Richards, 20, of West Jefferson, was driving north on Route 257 just south of Home Road in Delaware County when his car went left of center about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday. Richards' car hit a southbound car driven by Moriah Khadijah Durant, 33, of Delaware, according to the Delaware post of the State Highway Patrol.

A passenger in the Durant car, Rosaria Durant, 4, was pronounced dead at OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital.

Moriah Durant and passenger Steven Ashley Durant, 33, of Delaware, were taken in critical condition to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. Her condition has since been upgraded to good.

Richards was taken to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where he remained Thursday with critical injuries.
