One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 49 Wednesday afternoon.

Troopers said the wreck happened right before 2:30 p.m. on Highway 49 near Blackwelder Road. WBTV reported that troopers confirmed one person was killed but did not release any other details.

The station reported the vehicle struck a median and a guardrail before flipping several times.

The victim’s name has not been released.
