WATERBURY, VT : Man faces charge after crash on Sunday, June 18, 2017

A Waterbury man is facing a drunken driving charge following a Sunday morning accident that totaled the truck he was driving on Loomis Hill Road.
According to state police, Sydney Anechiarico, 28, escaped serious injury in the accident that occurred shortly before 10 a.m. Sunday. Anechiarico was transported to Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin for what police described as minor injuries before being processed for driving under the influence.
Police said the 2007 Toyota truck Anechiarico was driving was destroyed in the accident. No other details were available.
