Lakeland,FL : Motorcyclist dies from injuries suffered in crash on October, Monday 2nd 2017

A Lakeland motorcyclist has died from injuries he suffered Monday when a UPS van crashed into him.
William Jeffries, 21, of 3029 Hardin Combee Road, died of blunt force head trauma, said Carrie Horstman, a spokeswoman with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Toxicology results are pending, she said.
Jeffries was injured about 7:45 p.m. when a UPS van crashed into his 1995 Harley Davidson in East Lakeland. The front of the UPS van struck the side of the motorcycle, causing Jeffries to be ejected.
