Winter Park,FL : Winter Park Police investigate double fatal crash on December, Sunday 31st 2017

A crash that claimed two lives has Orange Avenue closed in Winter Park. The crash occurred around 5:45 p.m. Sunday, in the 1500 block of Orange Avenue, a few blocks west of US 17-92. Police have Orange Avenue closed for about half a mile, from US 17-92 going southwest.

One of the vehicles, a badly mangled car, came to rest on the sidewalk.

Winter Park Police said two females died in the wreck, and three other people were injured. Two vehicles are involved. Because it's early in the investigation, only a few details are available at this time. WESH 2 News has crews covering this incident, and will bring you new details as we get them.
