ALEXANDRIA, KY : Brooksville man killed in weekend accident on Kentucky 9 AA Highway while in the northbound lane on Saturday, 25th January, 2020

The name of an individual killed in a weekend accident in Campbell County has been released.

According to the Campbell County Police Department, around 6:55 a.m. on Saturday, Eric Clos, 40, of Brooksville, was traveling southbound on Kentucky 9 AA Highway while in the northbound lane. Officers were dispatched to locate Clos’ vehicle.

However, while attempting to locate Close, the police department was notified that Clos’ vehicle was involved in a collision with a charter bus owned by Gold Shield Transportation near the California Crossroads Road.

“Students and chaperones from the Covington Catholic High School occupied the bus,” Craig Patrick Sorrell, Campbell County Police chief said.

Clos was pronounced dead at the scene.
