Knoxville, TN : One man died in North Knox County motorcycle wreck on Tuesday morning July 29th 2014

A man died in a motorcycle crash around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday on Gray Road.

Deputies say 47-year-old Wally Glenn Kitts, of Knoxville, miscalculated a curve, locked up the brakes on his Harley, and slid into a guard rail.

He was thrown from his motorcycle.

Investigators say he was wearing a helmet, but not an approved one.
