Man in critical condition after being hit by car in Northeast Fresno

A man is in the hospital this morning after he was hit by a car in Northeast Fresno.

It happened around eleven last night near Fresno Street and Fairmont Avenue. Authorities say a woman was driving when a 39-year-old man suddenly walked in front of her car.

The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition. Authorities believe alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the crash.
