Memphis, TN : Off-duty officer injured in crash on Lamar Avenue early Friday morning, August 19, 2016

An off-duty Memphis police officer was injured in a crash in the 1900 block Lamar Avenue early Friday morning.

Police said one person was arrested following the crash.

There was no damage to the patrol car. The officer is expected to be OK.

WMC Action News 5 is working to learn what caused the crash and if the driver will be charged.
