ST. GEORGE, UT : Truck vs. car crash on I-15 on Friday, 22nd June 2018

A semitractor-trailer traveling south on Interstate 15 Friday clipped a car when trying to change lanes, causing the car to spin and take out a cable barrier.

The incident began when a Hyundai Elantra traveling in the right lane was attempting to pass the semi shortly before 4 p.m near mile marker 2. The truck driver didn’t see the Elantra when trying to change lanes at the same time, causing the crash, said Chris Terry, Utah Highway Patrol trooper.
