kinston , NC : 30 Years old man was killed after his scotter was hit by an SUV on N.C 11 South near Albritton’s Crossroads on early Tuesday morning, December 2nd 2014

A man was killed when his scotter was hit by an SUV early Tuesday morning. The North Carolina Highway Patrol said at 8:30 a.m., a two- car collision occurred on N.C 11 South near Albritton’s Crossroads. A white 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Brandi Blizzard, 30, of Kinston, was traveling south on N.C 11 when she rear-ended a motor scooter driven by Carlton Croom also of Kinston. Croom was thrown off of the scooter and died at the scene. Sandy Bottom Fire department and EMS responded to the scene. Blizzard was cited for misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, according to Trooper Gary Ipock. source : Man killed in scooter-SUV collision
