NEW YORK, NY : Woman struck, killed by tractor-trailer in Brooklyn on Wednesday, January 18th 2017

A woman has been struck and killed by a tractor-trailer while crossing a street in Brooklyn.

Police say the unidentified woman was hit Wednesday night in the Prospect Park South section of the borough.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say they later located the driver of the tractor-trailer. No arrests have been made.

Police continue to investigate.
