FAIRWAY, KS : Car drives wrong direction crosses median before crashing into home in Fairway on Thursday, 2nd May 2024

A car crashed into a home in Fairway, Kan., Thursday night in a one-vehicle crash.

It happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. in the area of Sheridan Drive and Shawnee Mission Parkway, just south of the KCTV5 building.

Police and firefighters responded to the area and are currently on scene investigating.

A KCTV employee witnessed a black car heading east in the one-way area of Granada Street. The employee saw the car hit the curb and continue driving in the wrong-way lanes of Shawnee Mission Parkway.
