Atlanta,GA : Atlanta officer injured in ice-related car accident on January, Wednesday 17th 2018

An Atlanta police officer was hospitalized “in significant pain” after being struck by a car Wednesday morning on the ice-slicked roads near Lenox Square mall.

The unidentified female officer was struck in the median of Lenox Road where she was working a previous accident by a parked SUV that was hit by another vehicle turning from the exit ramp off Ga. 400, an APD spokesman said.
