Fairfield, OH : A passenger killed in a single-vehicle crash on Friday, December, 15th 2017

A passenger killed in a single-vehicle crash was identified Friday as 26-year-old James S. Combs Jr. of Massachusetts, according to the Preble County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened Thursday in the early morning hours, but was not found until 8 a.m. by a local resident. Combs was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Camden College Corner Road at the Kingrey Road intersection in Israel Twp.

The driver of the 2004 Volkswagen was identified as Kenneth Cress, 26, of Fairhaven, Ohio. He was flown to Kettering Medical Center with serious injuries.
