Hannibal, MO : Monroe City man flown to hospital after crash on Sunday,15th April 2018

Elvis Solorio-Viveros, 27, of Monroe City, was flown to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., for treatment of serious injuries suffered in an accident at 1:38 a.m. Sunday, April 15, in rural Ralls County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, he was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche on Bethlehem Trail six miles south of Monroe City. The truck went off the left side of the road, hit a culvert and a tree, then stopped in a ditch. Solorio-Viveros was not using a safety device.

The State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Ralls County and Monroe County Sheriff’s Departments, Monroe County Ambulance personnel and Monroe City Fire Department.
