El Paso, TX : Two police officers hurt in single-vehicle crash early Sunday, December 25, 2016

Two police officers were transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries following a single-vehicle crash early Sunday, El Paso Police reported via Twitter.

The crash happened at about 12:45 a.m. Sunday along the 2600 block of Chaffee. No details were available on the extent of the officers' injuries, nor were details available about what led to the crash.

The department's Special Traffic Investigators are investigating the crash.
