A Louisville couple has died after a single-vehicle collision in Russell Springs.
According to Kentucky State Police, the crash occurred around 4:15 p.m. Sunday, July 13. Dana Bell, 55, of Louisville was traveling west on the Louis B. Nunn Parkway, nine miles east of Russell Springs. Her Toyota dropped off the side of the road, Bell over corrected and lost control.
The car crossed both lanes, exited the roadway and flipped several times. The passenger, Kenneth Bell, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene. Dana Bell was airlifted to UK Hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Neither the driver or the passenger were wearing seatbelts.
