SCITUATE, RI : Man killed in deadly Scituate crash on April, tuesday 18th 2017

Police responded to a deadly overnight crash on Route 116 in Scituate early Tuesday morning.

According to authorities, the accident happened in the area of William Henry Road at approximately 1:28 a.m. Tuesday.

When officials arrived on the scene, they saw a pickup truck plowed into a telephone pole and tree.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

National Grid crews were also called to repair the pole.

Police say at this time accident reconstruction officers are still investigating this accident.
